Copper Moon Landscape and Design, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Jason and Joshua Michniewicz. Born and raised on Cape Cod, the two brothers developed an appreciation for the beautifully landscaped, well-maintained and manicured properties of the area, and had a belief that discerning customers would recognize the value of high-quality workmanship. It is a core value that Copper Moon brings to every project they do, no matter how small.

Based in Chatham, Massachusetts, the business provides lawn care, yard maintenance and snow removal services in the towns of Harwich, Brewster, Chatham, and Orleans. It provides construction, irrigation, hardscape, and landscape design services in all towns on the Cape.

Joshua Michniewicz's experience in the landscape industry began in 2000, when he started working at Crocker Nurseries in Brewster, Massachusetts at the age of 14. Working weekends and school breaks, Josh learned about plant materials, proper planting techniques, equipment operation, and landscape construction under the tutelage of his mentor, Dave Crocker. His employment at Crocker Nurseries continued until the founding of Copper Moon Landscape and Design. Josh’s post-secondary education includes business studies at Bridgewater State College and horticulture studies at University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Jason Michniewicz has been employed in the landscape industry since he co-founded Copper Moon Landscape and Design, Inc. in 2005. A 2005 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a bachelor degree in managerial economics/business, Jason is responsible for business operations and property maintenance.
